I'm Lauren, an LLB Law graduate from the University of Reading. I am the first in my family to attend university and had originally decided I was not going to attend either. I had started a marketing apprenticeship before deciding I wanted to attend. I am an aspiring solicitor with a passion for sustainability, Intellectual Property and Employment Law as well as helping others.
My Story
My main interests are Employment Law, IP and Sports Law. Although I do have many interests outside of the law, including sewing, fundraising, marketing and content creation, debating and sustainability. In fact, I was on the committee for both the Debate (Treasurer) and Raising and Giving Society (Social Media Manager) last year. Not only that but I also secured the role of Environment and Ethics officer of the students union. Outside of university, I had previously worked for the commercial awareness company Watsons Daily and enjoyed discussing current affairs with the owner, co-hosting the podcast a few times.

I am also a huge motorsports fan and have been going to car shows with my family for as long as I can remember. My uncle owned many classic cars so we would bring those to show off. However, we did not go just to show off my uncle's car collection, we also raised money for Prostate Cancer UK by holding raffles and asking for donations for pictures in the cars.
